Nice is an important seaside resort of the Côte d’Azur. World famous is the seven kilometres long “Promenade des Anglais”, a big and beautiful boulevard. Next tot the boulevard are some great “Belle Époque-buildings”.
Important sightseeing’s are the Carnaval of Nice (a party of 18 days) and the Cours Saleya a square with a famous flower market. You can also check oud an old Romanian amfitheater. The old city centre is also great to see, with cosy alleys and beautiful churches.
After Paris, Nice has the most museums of France. Recommendations are the MAMAC, the museum for modern art and the Musée Matisse with work of the famous artist Henri Matisse.
